FEATURE FILM SYNOPSIS


The short film Freefall had its world premiere at the Independent California Film Festival in 2017. Since then, it has screened in various countries around the world including Russia, Serbia, Bucharest and New York. It won Best Men’s International Short at the North Carolina Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, Best Film Audience Award at the LGBT Toronto Film Festival, Best Director at Moscow Shorts, Best Original Score at the Bucharest Shortcut Cinefest, and was nominated for Best Short Drama at the Leo Awards.
ABOUT THE SHORT FILM
An aspiring writer and a pianist with terminal illness find solace in their relationship and their legacies. As he embarks on his dream career, Lucas meets Ivan, a pianist who has inspired him to start writing again. The two form a friendship that promises to develop into something more. But time is against them as Ivan hides the fact that he suffers from ALS.
